The January walk will be on Sunday 8th January,
Starting at 1000 from Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog.
Meet outside the Hand Hotel in the middle of the village. There is parking along the road into the village.
The walk will be 9-10 miles along the Ceiriog river and up into the nereby hills.
Last time I was there before Xmas it was pretty muddy and the rain hasnt let up, so good boots (preferably with gaiters) or wellingtons would be a good idea.
To get to Llanarmon leave the A483 at Chirk and follow the signs up the Ceiriog valley. It takes about 20 minutes from Chirk.
There is a 7 mile shorter version if the weather is bad or you just prefer a shorter walk after all that Xmas pudding.
