Another journey of discovery, November's walk explores the Cumbria villages of Orton and Great Asby and the remarkable limestone upland of Orton Scar where there are fine limestone pavements.
Walking is easy-going, paths generally good and extensive views guaranteed.
Start point: Orton, 2.5 miles north of junction 38 of the M6 (GR 622 082), where there is parking in the centre of the village.
Distance: 11 miles (with an option to reduce it by 2 miles).
Aim to start at 10:00am.
Please let me (Tony) know if you will be coming along on this walk (email: tonyjb27[at]icloud.com).
Hope to see you there.
Cheers,
Tony
