Something a bit different for that new year resolution.
A Coastal walk starting from Conder Green and proceeding south along the Lune Estuary and the coast of Morecambe Bay.
It is 9 miles, almost entirely flat but bound to be muddy in places so good foot ware essential.
Meet at 1000 in the Conder Green Car Park.
Conder Green is easy to get to. Leave the M6 at Lancaster South J33 and go north about 1 mile on the A6 until Galgate where you take a signed left turn at the traffic light.
It is only about 3 miles to Conder Green from here. At the Stork pub take the lane signed for the Conder Green Picnic Site and at the end of the short road there is a pay and display car park.
The walk will go via Glasson Dock, Cockersands Abbey and on towards Cockerham before heading back to Conder Green.
There is a café and pub at the end of the walk.
