April's walk will be the Fairfield Horseshoe from Ambleside.
This is one of the classic walks in the Lake District.
A total of 10.5 miles and a little over 3000 feet in height gain.
The walk will start at 1000 from the Rydal Road Car park in Ambleside and proceed around the horseshoe in an anticlockwise direction.
The car park is on the left hand side as you are leaving Ambleside on the Grasmere/Keswick road.
The car park is expensive so car sharing is recommended.
