Directions: from Mold take A541to Denbeigh. Turn left for Nannerch. On entering the village take the first road for 3 miles towards Llandyrnog. Car park on the right at the head of the valley.
The walk on paths and bridleways: initially south on the western flanks of Moel Arthur and Famau before climbing to Moel Famau and Offa's Dyke Path which we follow north back to the car park
