Sunday 7th July 2013 - Moel Eilio loop

Moel Eilio loop - Taking in Moel Eilio (726m), Foel Gron (593m) & Foel Goch (605m). A pleasant walk (on a lane section early on) with most of the climbing up onto Moel Eilio, then a nice undulating ridge before an easy descent (great path) leading back to Llanberis.

Meeting Time – 1000hrs
Meeting point – Electric mountain car park LLanberis North Wales (£4.50) – (GR581-602) Car park is split into two, turn left on entrance
Distance of walk – 8 mile
Ascent – approx 2,500ft
Walk Difficulty – Not a hard walk, but strenuous in places on the way up Moel Eilio (some country lanes, grassy paths & stone paths)
Time to do the walk – Plenty time to take photos, enjoy lunch and take more photos – back at car before 1600hrs
Doggable – Yes with a lead (Sheep around)
Scenery – Excellent (weather permitting), great views of the Snowdon massif, the Snowdon trains, Llanberis, Anglesey etc
