This walk will start from Sadgill at the end of the road in Longsleddale Valley. There is parking for up to 6/7 cars.
This is on the eastern side of the Lake District and reachable from the A6 just north of Kendal so no need to get involved in the usual Lake District traffic.
It will cover several Wainwright peaks on the East side of the Valley and when reaching the pass at the top of Longsleddale there will be a choice depending on the weather and how people feel between returning directly down the valley or climbing up and doing a further set of peaks on the West side.
None of the peaks are difficult and after gaining height to the first one it is mostly a ridge walk with great views for the rest of the day.
