Distance of walk approximately 8 - 9 mile
Ascent/Descent – Do not have this information however we start at 346m and Shutlingsloe is 506m we do drop to 180m before Shutlingsloe
The car park is on the Buxton old road - take road to Buxton coming out of Macclesfield (A537), the Tegg Nose Country Park on the Buxton old road is signposted off the A537 as a brown sign.
The walk takes in Tegg Nose peak, 4 reservoirs, Macclesfield forest, Shutlingsloe (Cheshire Matterhorn) and views of the Cheshire plains and surrounding hills.
