Parking is limited. Before you reach Hebden Bridge, just past a large JCB hire yard there is space to park on the left hand side just before traffic lights.
The walk 18 km approx. We will be heading north to Heptonstall moor and Gorple Lower reservoir before making our way back to Hebden bridge passing through the cobbled streets of Heptonstall village. There are two churches within the same churchyard one being the remains of St Thomas the apostle built between 1256-1260.dedicated to Thomas A Becket. We will make our way down to Hebden Bridge and pick up the canal back to the cars.
