Date/Time of walk: Saturday 8th October, 10am start
Not suitable for dog - lots of stiles and livestock in fields.
Start Location: Coed Llangwyfan (forestry car park)

From Mold take the A541 towards Denbigh, then turn off left for Nannerch.
Take the first road left, signposted Llandyrnog (also brown fly fishery sign)
Follow this single track road (passing places) for about 3 miles.
Car park is on the right at the top of the pass by the forest.
Distance: Approx 8.5 miles (mainly bridle-paths and field paths, open hillside)
Can be muddy in places following rain
Total Ascent: 2100 feet
Time: Approx 4.5 hours
Route Description:
The walk heads out of car park and climbs Moel Arthur, then follows bridle-paths and field paths along the eastern side of the Clwydian hills, returning over Penycloddiau.
If the visibility is good(!) we should have excellent views of the Snowdonia, North Wales coast and Cheshire plain.
