Taking Into account the short days and potential for bad weather, I’ve chosen a ‘figure of 8’ walk just north of Betws Y Coed. (See attached route). We can meet at 10.00am at a free car park near the Grey Mare’s Tail waterfall. W3W ///sympathy.operation.gliders and grid ref: 789609.
The walk is about 8 miles on generally good forest paths. We can call in at Betws for refreshment or loos just after half way if needed and there are lots of options shorten the walk if needed.
Option for post walk coffee at a nearby 15th century tearoom https://www.tuhwntirbont.co.uk/ which I think is open until 5pm
