Sunday 4th November - Fairsnape Fells Walk

Start time 10.00am The suggested start is from the bottom of the lane from Fell Foot (GR 602442) where there is roadside parking. Approach from Chipping village. A 9 mile walk is planned over Fairsnape Fells in the south-western corner of the Forest of Bowland. In this walk the fells are coupled with the magnificent embayment (that's what it says in the book) of Bleasdale and a circuit around the moorland edge. Expect some rough walking and muddy paths but should make a relatively easy day in good weather. A lower level alternative is possible if the weather is atrocious/misty.
