The next walk will take place on Saturday May 4th.
The walk itself is a circuit of 5 hills in Dovedale, a delightful area a few miles south of Buxton. It will cover a distance of about 14k, with a total ascent of 583m. Note that, for those who would prefer an easier day, each of the hills can be avoided.
Aim to start at 10:00, parking on the roadside opposite The Quiet Woman pub in Earl Sterndale (GR092668 (approx); w3w: vipers.sues.luck).
Post-walk refreshments at The Parks Inn, Harpur Hill, a few minutes drive on the road home.
