Parking is £4.75 for the day, internet payment is theoretically possible, but reception is poor so cash is recommended.
Walk up past the reservoir to the top of William Clough, then an optional 0.3 mile detour to Mill Hill before turning back towards Kinder Downfall (which was more of a trickle on our reccie).
Walk along the ridge then head south at the waterfall to Kinder Low before heading back to Hayfield.
8.6 miles with total ascent of about 2,100 feet
